Howdy!
For the past year you’ve heard how effective this rig has been on Bass, Walleye, Speckled Trout and other game fish. . Now I’ve learned even more about this rig and another application. (Yes, I actually went fishing.)

Steve Pennaz of North American Fisherman introduced me to the Lindy No-Snagg™ Sinker to put the Stoopid Rig where the fish were.

Barry Johnson from Pure Fishing shared some Berkley Vanish™ fluorocarbon to make it look more natural and provided the protection from the rocky bottoms we fished. (We used about a three-foot leader.)

Cliff Soward brought along the Wooly Hawg™. That Yum® stuff in the Wooly Hawg appealed to the fish’s sense of smell.  (I bet you know where this is going.) 

The result looked much like a Carolina rig on steroids. It worked like a Carolina rig on steroids. Thanks to Steve’s expertise, we caught Smallmouth up to five pounds, some fine Walleye and Northerns too. 

Now I’m really dangerous…
Imagine this rig with a larger Daiichi Circle Wide, No-Snagg Sinker, larger lure and heavier Vanish for Striper, Reds or even Tarpon in deep passes.
