A very BIG cold front moved through the area on Wednesday Nite, and really put the fish off their feed. Surface fishing for Smallmouth was good, but fish have dropped into very deep water. Walleye fishing is fair with most fish being found around mid lake humps and in deeper chanels of the lake. Best fishing is in about 30 to 38 feet of water. 
Surface temperatures on the lake have dropped to 64.1 degrees on the lower end of the lake. Walleyes should start moving closer to the surface over the next week to 10 days with severe cold predicted for the area over the next 3 days. Temps in the high 20's are predicted over this weekend. This should put temps in the High 50's by the beginning of next week.
