Sturtevant, Wis., December 16, 2008 – Consumers who purchase any Evinrude E-TEC outboard engine will have the opportunity to take advantage of the best retail incentive program in the industry today. The Evinrude 100th Anniversary Sales Event promotion delivers the peace of mind and financing assistance consumers are seeking in these challenging economic conditions.

The sales promotion offers the consumer a 5-year BRP factory-backed warranty AND a special low consumer financing program. The promotion begins January 1, 2009 and ends April 15, 2009. The offer is available through authorized Evinrude outboard dealerships in the United States. In addition, consumers purchasing and taking delivery of an eligible loose engine to repower a boat during the program may select one of two additional options: I-Command Digital package with a retail value of approximately $1,186, or a Down Payment Rebate up to $300.

Consumers who purchase and take delivery of eligible engines from a participating U.S. dealer during the promotional period will receive the following benefits:

1. 5-year factory backed limited warranty (3-year BRP factory warranty PLUS an additional 2-year B.E.S.T. (BRP Extended Service Terms) coverage);

2. Special financing on entire boat packages or loose engines purchased for repower;

3. Repower Bonus with an option to choose an I-Command Digital gauge package or up to $300 down payment rebate. Down payment rebate is based on horsepower:

200-hp and above = $300

115- 175-hp = $200

40- 90-hp = $100

The promotion is offered in the U.S. on consumer retail purchases between January 1, 2009 and April 15, 2009 on new, unused 2009 model year and earlier engines 40 horsepower and above.
