NICE GUYS FINISH FIRST
VALLEY CITY, ND, OCTOBER 1, 2007: The NPAA (National Professional
Anglers Association), a non-profit organization focused on growing
the sport of fishing and increasing the professionalism of its
members want to congratulate NPAA member, Brad Davis #07, from
Jackson, WI on his In-Fisherman Professional Walleye Trail Super
Pro event win Sept. 6th, 2007 on Cass Lake near Cass Lake, MN.
Brad weighed 38.13lbs. of walleye’s during the course
of three days to secure the win and secure his place in the
2007 Championship. This is Brad’s first PWT win fishing
the circuit full time since 2001. Brad said, “All these
years of hard work, and the support of my family have paid off.”
Brad used finesse rigging techniques spiced up with a little
speed, close to one mph, to coax lots of walleye’s into
biting. Brad noticed if the fish didn’t cooperate on redtail
minnows and creek chubs, he could switch to nightcrawlers and
produce more bites.
Brad is a cement contractor out of Jackson, WI and gives a true
meaning to the words, “Nice Guy”. His soft spoken
demeanor and willingness to help anyone in a pinch has earned
him the respect of the entire walleye fishing community.
Finishing second and third place was NPAA members Gil Mollett
#309 of Jefferson, SD and Perry Good #16 of Brainerd, MN. They
also were rigging walleye’s for a strong finish and top
ranks for the 2007 Championship taking place next spring –
2008.
