- 2008 202X Triton DC walleye boat, asking $41,500
- Here is your chance to buy a 2008 Triton 202 X
Dual Console walleye boat with walkthrough windshield
at a fraction of the price of new, this boat retails
for over $60,000. You would have to look hard to
tell this one is used, this boat has only been on
the water 9 times since I purchased it, and has
been in indoor storage the rest of the time. Due
to an unexpected job loss and a new career change,
I am not able to use it like I would have liked
to, and because of that I can't see hanging on to
it any longer. So, here she is in mint condition,
and she will get you compliments whereever you go,
and yes the ride quality good in big water. The
boat is equipped for a serious tournament fisherman,
or a diehard weekend warrior who wants to fish large
bodies of water without worrying about it being
too rough. I has a 225hp Mercury Optimax for the
main motor, a 9.9 L Mercury 4 stroke with remote
steer, remote controls and electric start, it also
has a 24 volt
Minn Kota Vantage on the transom for less windy
days. The bow has a Motor Guide 24 volt TR 82 with
foot control, there is also a Lowrance X17 on the
bow with a seperate front transducer, and is GPS
and sensor networked to another X17 on the helm;
the whole boat is wired with NEMA 2000 networking
cables, and has a factory water temp sensor installed.
The boat has 4 color matching seats and a front
butt seat, there are factory rod tie downs on the
bow and on the port side gunwale for those quick
trips from spot to spot, there is also a full size
rod locker for 12 rods in the bow. The boat has
tons of storage in the front and the rear, it also
has a bait well and a built in cooler, the live
well is in the rear on the boat for a smoother ride
on the fish. There is an on board 3 bank charger
and a Uniden VHF Marine radio with an 8ft fiberglass
antenna, the boat is capable of having a 36 volt
battery set up for the trolling motors, everything
installed on the
boat was done extremely clean and professionally.
The carpet is dark to help it stay warmer and dry
faster after washing, and it will help hide any
stains if you spill something, all carpet and seats
are in perfect condition. The boat is also equipped
with a factory installed keel guard to color match
the gel coat and protect it from scuffing. The trailer
is GatorHyde coated to prevent rock chips or rust,
all the lights are LEDs, the fenders are fiberglass
with matching paint, it also has 2 front bow steps
to get into the front of the boat, very cool and
handy; there are also factory ratchet tie downs
and a matching spare tire, there are also 2 transom
savers for the two bigger motors on the transom.
The trailer also has a swing tongue hitch and I
have a factory Triton cover for the boat and a Mercury
cover for the Optimax, there is also lots of Triton
storage boxes for compartments, a fire extinguisher,
and a Triton fish ruler, there is also a trim
switch on the steering column. This boat boat does
about 62 mph fully loaded with a 23 degree pitch,
I also have a spare Express 14 1/4 x 21 degree prop
for the motor that goes with, It did about 59 mph
with this prop and had excellent hole shot; it has
a slight ding on it from a rock at low speeds, but
the rock never hit the motor skag, it was off to
the side, and blades are not bent, no vibration,
just a little slower than the 23 degree. This is
the second one of these Tritons that I have owned
and they ride very good in rough water. I had a
new Ranger before and I personally think the ride
of these boats is better. This is great boat, I
had just sprayed it off at a car wash, so you can
see some dark spots on the carpet, just water, and
there are spots where there is some dust on the
boat from being in storage. If you have any questions
just ask, I would be happy to answer them.
